Music
Covenant UMC Preschool believes music helps teach important language and cognitive skills. Each class visits Ms. Emma’s music class once a week. Some of the skills this program helps develop are ear training, rhythm training, music appreciation, music fundamentals, creative movement, and singing. Typical music activities include singing Call and Response songs and American folk songs, moving to action songs and dancing with scarves, playing rhythm instruments, and learning about different musical instruments.
