Ms. Kelly is our lead teacher in the one’s class at Covenant UMC Preschool.  Before joining the school full-time she worked here as a substitute teacher for three years.  She has a business background as well as having worked as a Cub Scout volunteer, room mom, and as an assistant at her two sons’ schools.

She says:

I love teaching at Covenant UMC Preschool because I love to play and I love the little ones.  I believe, as does the preschool, that playing is important to a child’s development and that it lays the groundwork for future learning.  I hope to foster a love of learning in the children through my interactions with them.

When not indoors at the preschool, Ms. Kelly likes to be outside in the sunshine biking, swimming, or walking.  If it is July in Austin, she is an avid fan of the Zilker Hillside Summer Musical.
