Ms. Joanie has a communications background and worked in media before becoming a stay-home mom. She has devoted her efforts to school volunteerism as a room parent, parent association board member, fundraising chairperson, team mom, booster representative and fine arts board member.

Ms. Joanie loves to cook for her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and son. She has happily called Austin home for the last 20+ years.
